In addition to the many people who embraced the original 8-Bit sounds of the Nintendo Entertainment System comes Fucking Werewolf Asso of Gotherburg, Sweden. After the demise of his previous 8-bit hardcore band GO! With Fourteen O (A.K.A. Vs. the Helicopter), vocalist/keyboard player/MIDI programmer Dennis Wedin teamed up with drummer Martin Svensson to create more speedy, infectious, synth-powered, pop songs. Several G!WFO songs have here been revived with Dennis trading in the previous screamo vocals for his high register shouting (I personally love it but I can see how some may not be so accepting of the change). With the album being little over 16 minutes and the longest song topping off at 2:20, each track is tightly packed with hooks that demand repeated listening.
Kid! Just Letting You Know We Are Doing It Again leaves very little room for filler (or room in your pants for that matter).
